Accessibility Statement
Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IBVI) is committed to providing welcoming and accessible digital experiences to everyone including people with disabilities.
Digital experiences include our web sites, social media, mobile applications, and documents. This commitment includes members of the general public, program participants, employees, donors, and other stakeholders. Digital accessibility is core to our mission of improving the quality of life and providing opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA as our standard for accessibility. Our digital assets are tested against these guidelines natively using assistive technology such as screen readers and screen magnification software. Digital accessibility is also a core requirement for business partners working with Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IBVI).
We update this statement at least quarterly to keep our stakeholders apprised of our work surrounding digital accessibility. We welcome and encourage accessibility and usability feedback on any Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IBVI) digital assets.
