Featured Events
Summer Cooking and Grilling — May 18
With Memorial Day coming up and everyone firing up their grills, now is a perfect time to learn about how you can learn to grill with no or low vision. In this live online event (through Zoom) they’ll talk about how you can use adaptive techniques and products, as well as offer up some tips and safety recommendations. This could be your best-tasting summer yet!
Access Technology Class: Smart Speakers with Screens
Smart speakers like Google Home and Amazon Alexa are seemingly everywhere, but now screens are being added to many of them. This means more functionality, like image searching and video chatting with family and friends. But it also means learning how to use these products as a person who is blind or visually impaired. In this online class, they will have demonstrations of the Amazon Echo Show and the Google Nest Hub.
